We equip local congregations with a ready-to-deploy cargo trailer filled with — cots, bedding, food service, and safety equipment for up to 30 guests — so a church that already has a warm room and the willingness to help can open its doors on the coldest nights of the year.
Places of worship already have what emergency shelter needs most: heat, gathering space, restrooms, a kitchen, and volunteers ready to help. What most don't have is the bedding, sanitation, food-service supplies, safety equipment, clear procedures, and a few additional trained volunteers needed to do it responsibly. Mobile Hearth fills exactly that gap.

Homelessness is rising across Massachusetts, and each winter that crisis becomes urgent in greater Attleboro. When temperatures fall, there are not enough emergency shelter beds for every neighbor who needs one. Too many people are left to survive the night in parking lots, wooded areas, vehicles, or under bridges. Mobile Hearth offers a practical, compassionate response: partnering with local places of worship to turn existing warm spaces into safe, temporary winter shelters when they are needed most.
